Busy Weekend

The rest of our weekend was as busy as the first two days.In fact, we're all tired, cranky and trying to recover and wish we had a few extra days off. On Saturday we did some yard work and then went to a party with some of Paul's high school friends. Rudy had fun playing with the other two-year-olds and three-year-olds. Which, of course , means there was a lot of "It's mine" to be heard. There was a battery operated pig that each child had in their possession at some point during the night all claiming it was theirs. The child who it really belonged to did a great job sharing, especially since she was a little older and knew it was really hers, while the others used 'mine' to mean "I have it now and you can't touch it". The concept of every one's mother being "Mommy" also seems to be hard at this age. Rudy and Livia argued several times over "My Mommy" if they heard each other saying "Mommy" while we were both around. Explaining that to a two-year-old i snot easy!

Sunday we had a lazy morning, Rudy and I went out to lunch with my friend. Paul met some friends and a former teacher for lunch (still in reunion mode). Then after dinner we went to visit some other friends, took a walk on the boardwalk to a playground and the had some delicious gelato. Here are Rudy, Clair and Finn on the slide.
