Triple Birthdays Take One

All 3 kids' birthdays are within 8 days, right around Thanksgiving. So instead of doing individual parties for them, this weekend we spent that day at Sahara Sam's, an indoor water park, to celebrate their birthdays.
The kids had so much fun and it was just the perfect size place where Rudy and Niko could go off together to go on certain slides by themselves.

This ride was called the FlowRider. You had to be 8 to ride it, so Rudy was very excited about the fact that he'd be the only allowed to go on it.
One ride was all it took for him to decide he wasn't riding it again. It was not anything like body surfing in the ocean!

Crazy, tired kids.

Early Birthday Celebration

The whole Andes side got together recently to celebrate early for Dad's 80th birthday. We met at a restaurant in Cherry hill.
I forgot my camera, so these pictures were taken with my new phone. I still need a little work using it.

Halloween Fun

Recapping our fall and Halloween activities.
Saturday, October 25, we met our camping friends in Maryland at Milburne Orchards for a day of outside fun.

There were a lot of playground areas that we spent time moving from one to another.

We took a walk through a corn maze.

There were animals to pet and feed.

We actually got (almost) all of the kids into a picture.

This was an old school house. The figure behind the fence spoke and told about its history. Rudy decided he would stand up front and pretend he was the one talking.

Sunday evening was the Zombie Walk in Smithville. This year we had three zombies participate.

There was the usual parade at the boys's school.
Our second grade werewolf...

...and our third grade werewolf.

And then there was trick-or-treating. Two werewolves and an Elsa...it wasn't a particularly creative year for us.
