Today we went to breakfast with Santa at a local restaurant. Here's our handsome boy waiting for breakfast...
(here Paul was teasing him because two girls, about 10 or 11 walked by and he said Rudy gave them a little smile- the flirting begins!)
I don't remember what he wanted that we wouldn't let him do, but the pouting lip came out- didn't work.
Food! Yes, this is supposed to be breakfast, but it could have been dessert! Chocolate chip pancakes with rainbow sprinkles and whipped cream. And, of course, some sausage.
A little full and lazy- he ate about half of the pancakes and all but about 2 bites of the sausage.
Then we went to see Santa. Rudy was pretty reserved with Santa. He said he didn't know what he wanted when asked (he later told us he knew he wanted Legos, but didn't know what kind and felt sure Santa was going to ask for more specific information). He also pointed out right from the start that this is just one of Santa's helpers, since he could see the strings for his beard. He has always been very understanding of the fact that Santa can't do all these visits by himself and always has helpers.
