Cape May Aviation Museum

Feeling like summer is quickly passing us by, Rudy and I headed down to Cape May today to visit the Cape May Aviation Museum.

As soon as we entered the museum, which is in a huge airplane hangar, I knew he was going to enjoy himself.

In an old control tower from Bader Field.

From the control tower looking down at part of the museum.

There were planes he could get in and touch, push buttons in, and pretend to fly. This was Rudy heaven!

I took this picture then he said, wait take another...

...and this was the face I got!

Playing on the rocking airplane.

Checking out the stretcher (which he noted had no railing and someone could easily fall off!)

Flying a helicopter

Riding in the coast guard helicopter.

A coast guard boat with a gun and ammo, what more could a boy ask for?!

Another view of some of the hangar.

Yup more weapons.

Look at the size of it!

Typing.

Being Uncle Sam

As we left the airport with his souvenirs- dog tags and a helmet (it was just a coincidence that he wore the camo shirt!)

This museum was definitely a hit and one I could see going back to again.
