First Grade Here We Come...

The much awaited first day of first grade was today. Rudy has been very excited about it. Mostly because the first graders line up by the playground, therefore, the first graders play on the playground until it's time to go inside.

As we prepared to leave for school (walking, because we knew how many cars would be there today), it was cloudy and starting to drizzle. By the time Paul and I walked home, it was raining pretty hard.
So we didn't get to hang out at school and watch him go with his teacher, and Rudy didn't get to see his friends before school, but he was still happy to go, and even better, he came home happy!
