My request for my birthday was that we take a hike. I found a place we hadn't been called Maurice River Bluffs. It was about a 2 mile hike, surprisingly hilly for New Jersey. Had we taken one trail down by the water, we might have been able to see some of the bald eagle nests.
Starting off. Rudy pretending to hit me.
After complaining numerous times about how much he hated hiking,he ran ahead and explored.

Exploring ruins. He wanted me to come over with him because he said, "This is the setting in movies where something bad always happens."
Running out of steam. Rudy had his first non-family sleepover the night before. He didn't go to be until midnight or later and was awake around 6, so he was tired!
