A Familiar Sight

Spring 2008 - Rudy at almost 2 1/2 using his lawn mower.

June 2009 - Rudy at 3 1/2 following Paul around and imitating everything he does with his lawn mower.

Yesterday - Rudy 4 (almost and 1/2). Paul just bought a new lawn mower and he and Rudy were very excited to mow the lawn once again. Rudy imitated everything Paul did - if Paul checked out the tire, Rudy did too. if Paul started his lawn mower, so did Rudy. It was very sweet.

Is it really January?

It sure seems like October weather today! I wouldn't mind if it just stayed like this until spring. These pictures are from October but they show what we did today. Rudy helped rake leaves.

And then he spent the rest of the time pushing his lawn mower around.

I wish I had the camera with me outside today because at one point he had his lawn mower, his dump truck and his tricycle (he calls it a moto) all lined up. Still Poppy's boy!
