Sunday Paul, Rudy and I headed north to Liberty State Park to take the ferry to Ellis Island and The Statue of Liberty.

There it is.
Arriving at Ellis Island.
Both parks have free audio tours you can get. Rudy loved this in the beginning and it helped keep him focused and interested throughout most of Ellis Island. Until the end when he would get frustrated with us because we were heading one way but his recording would instruct him to go another.
After, he was a little burned out.
Then we headed to The Statue of Liberty.
We were able to walk up to the pedestal. This is the view of you look up from there.

then we went down around the base and walked around some of the other outer levels. From here we got different views if we looked up.

In the base of The Statue is a museum about the building of it. This is a cast of the face. Of course my boy had to stick his finger in its nose.

Then we hopped back on the ferry and headed back to Liberty State Park
