Rudy's First Band Concert

Rudy had his first band concert this month. He played the trumpet in the beginning band. He was in the very back, so hardly discernible in these pictures.

After the concert, we went out for ice cream with his friend, Jaedyn, who played drums in the band.

Mother Son Luau

Rudy's school sponsored a Mother/ Son Luau this month. I expected there to be more activities than dancing but it was pretty much a dance. The boys danced more than I thought they would and we had a good time.

March- Liberty Science Center

It looks like my blog has become a monthly update. And not much has been happening lately. In march, Rudy and I and some friends went to Liberty Science Center. We'd never been there before. It was very similar to the Franklin Institute.
The special exhibit was a Titanic exhibit and in the lobby was a boat to take pictures on. Rudy has never seen Titanic so he didn't quite get the significance but he enjoyed taking pictures of himself.

Funny Farm Rescue

This week of vacation we also visited a local animal rescue farm. There are a lot of animals, many which are free of can be reached and petted through fences. I took Rudy and his friend Jaedyn and they are already making plans to go back and volunteer.

There were a number of dogs on the farm and some of them loved to catch balls and frisbees, so the boys had fun playing with them.

Socks. This was the only horse that was free to roam. It was quite a surprise when it first came walking up to us.

Epic Nerf Battle

A local friend organized a nerf battle at our town's park today. In preparation for it, Rudy used some of his birthday gift cards to buy a new nerf gun and extra bullets. He, of course, dressed for the part, too.
