Rudy, Grandpa, and I were able to take a trip to Niagara Falls. We left and headed to Albany first, to visit with Aunt Barbara.
After driving several hours, Rudy and I needed to stretch our legs for a bit while Grandpa visited with Aunt Barbara. So we wandered around the campus.

The next day we drove to Niagara Falls, Ontario. Our first stop was the Skylon Tower, where we had dinner in the revolving dinning room.

After dinner we went up a level to the observation deck.
The next day we went to Niagara Falls State Park in New York. This was the first of many rainbows we saw.

After the boat ride, Rudy and I headed to the steps to walk up by The American Falls. Rudy decided no poncho was needed. It was so hot that the poncho actually made you feel much hotter and if you got wet, you dried very quickly.

We took a trolley ride to the Discovery Center.
Our next visit was to Cave of the Winds. Not only do they give out ponchos for this, but they also give foam sandals to wear. The walkways here are taken down and rebuilt every year because of the wear and tear from the water. We were close enough in several places to touch the water fall. The very top deck is called the Hurrican Deck where the wind blows at storm speed and the water stings.
Later that night, I took a walk down to the falls on the Canadian side.

Later that night, Rudy and I took a walk a few blocks from our hotel and went to the Movieland Wax Museum.

Outside the Guinness World Record Museum, we decided to weigh Rudy. He's been eating a lot while on vacation!
We played some glow in the dark golf.
The next day we went to old Fort Niagara. It was so amazing to see the ways it was built to protect it and still let the soldiers able to hold off attacks.
We saw a demonstration of a prisoner joining their ranks (much nicer and more polite than I imagine anything it today!)
And we saw a cannon firing demonstration.
That night, our last night, we went to Oh, Canada. Eh? A dinner show that showcased all things Canadian.
