Rudy has had a lot of fun lately. At his babysitter's house, she has a big inflatable slide in her basement that he likes to play on.
He's almost done with his swimming lessons. If you ask him about swimming the first thing he'll tell you is "reach and pull", which is what the kids are taught for moving their arms, and "kick" (which is self-explanatory, I think). Here you can see the face he makes when he swims - he's swallowed a little too much water and has finally learned how to prevent it. He is not swimming on his own - he wears a belt that helps him float.
Rudy looks kind of terrified here but he really enjoys it. Someone 'helps' him jump into the water....
... and then he emerges happy and proud.
And of course it's not spring without some outside time. He loves his buggy and his favorite thing is to have Paul or I pull him up and down the hill in our backyard.
That is the coolest slide ever...makes me want to spend the day at a babysitter's :)
