Just to let you know the status of Nidia's case. Here's some information from Damaris:
Kathy, I just read your post about our Nidia and I thank you so much. The last couple of weeks have been difficult, as we were "kicked out" of PGN for the 2nd time in 6 weeks. We were very sad and angry the day we found out. Why couldn't PGN have identified these additional 3 items when they asked for the copy of the registration in mid-Feb? Then we do what we always do: focus on Nidia and the fact that she's healthy, loved and well cared for. We decided to plan a trip to Guatemala to celebrate her 3rd birthday with her in June. We have the tickets and we have now been re-submitted to PGN (on 4/10). Maybe, God willing, our case will be approved & a visa appt scheduled by the time we travel. Can you imagine bringing her home with us in mid-June?! Almost exactly 3 yrs after we met her. Now that would be a prayer answered. Thanks everyone for praying for us.
