After a hard week of school, there is nothing better than to put your feet up and relax with a good magazine.

You Know You Have Kids When...

I have to admit, I stole the idea of this post from my friend, Reba. But it was such a great post and I immediately started thinking of ideas as I read her post, I knew I had to do a similar one.

You know you have kids when a train table is set up instead of a coffee table.

You know you have kids when the couch is used as an airplane hanger and runway.

You know you have kids when the refrigerator is not just for food - but also for art projects, letters, and a parking spot for a race car.

You know you have kids when the nice table you have is used to store toys under and in front of it - making it impossible to use for anything else.

You know you have kids when the den looks like this.

First Snow

Sunday night into Monday we got our first snowfall of the season. It wasn't a significant amount (not enough to keep me home from school) but enough for Rudy to play in. So while I was at work, Paul and Rudy had a fun snow day.

After taking my dad to a doctor's appointment, the boys stopped at a bike path and took a snowy walk. They saw some animal tracks, which Rudy was apparently fascinated with, and admired the snow on all the trees.

Later Rudy got to play in our yard.

What better to use a baseball bat for but hitting snow balls?

And no snow day is complete without a cup of hot chocolate.

FFF- Eyes

This picture has always made me think "What you talkin' 'bout, Willis?" I wonder what was going through his head in this picture - Who are these crazy people who keep coming to visit me? Why do they speak a strange language? Why are they asking me to kick a ball around? Any number of things that he now would easily say to us. And yes, I think we still do get this look every once in a while.

Please Touch Museum

We met our friends Vincie and Andy and their boys here on Saturday. It has all different play areas like water play, all kinds of transportation, a grocery store, a restaurant, a doctor's office, and a fairy tale area. The boys had a great time and we were amazed at the place. It's another place we got a season pass to so we will be going back many times in the next year!

Rudy, Noah, Andy and Tyler on the bus (and Vincie peeking in the window).

Rudy in the doctor's office taking care of a baby. He was very serious and intent as he checked the baby out and tried to put a diaper on him.

Rudy, me, baby Sean and some other guests at a tea party.

FFF- Cold

I am going to try to post ONE favorite foto this year. It is going to be hard but I am going to try.
This week's theme is cold. This is from one of the first snows we had last year after Rudy came home (in fact by this time last year we had had several storms). He looks a little cold in the picture but he never complained or wanted to go in.
